Crown Chakra Sahasrara- Connect to the divine
At the crown of your head blooms a thousand-petaled lotus: silent, radiant, and infinite. This is the Crown Chakra Sahasrara: your portal to the Divine, the center where your individual self dissolves into universal consciousness. It’s not about thinking or feeling anymore – it’s about being. Pure, unbound, and aware. The Sahasrara energy center is your connection to Source, to Spirit, to the vast cosmic intelligence that pulses through everything.
When your crown chakra Sahasrara is unbalanced, you may feel lost, spiritually disconnected, or adrift without meaning. You might experience mental fog, migraines, or even a numbness that no productivity hack can fix. Sometimes, the imbalance shows up as spiritual cynicism, or the opposite, an escape into fantasy or spiritual bypassing. Often, the Sahasrara energy center dims when we’ve lost our connection to silence, to stillness, or have been taught to fear surrender.
Healing the Crown Chakra isn’t about knowing more, rather it’s about remembering who you already are. To balance the Crown Chakra is to stop seeking and start being. To remember that even in your smallest breath, you are one with the infinite. It is awakening not just to light – but to your essence as that light.

how to heal the Crown chakra
Healing the Crown Chakra Sahasrara is not about fixing, it’s about surrendering. It’s the journey of remembering that you are not separate, you are not lacking, you are already whole, already connected. The Crown Chakra Sahasrara energy center governs your connection to universal consciousness, higher wisdom, and divine unity. When it’s imbalanced, you may feel spiritually disconnected, empty, or isolated, either lost in logic or floating in disembodied idealism.
But when balanced, the crown chakra sahasrara becomes a channel, grace flows in, and life becomes an effortless alignment with purpose, peace, and presence. You no longer ask, “Am I guided?” rather You know you are. Bliss replaces worry. Stillness becomes strength. You walk gently, knowing the Divine walks with you, within you.
Nyāsa
Nyāsa (न्यास) literally means ‘placing’ . It is the act of mentally (and often physically) placing mantras, elements, deities, or energies into specific parts of the body to consecrate it as a temple of the divine.
- Sit in a comfortable meditative position.
- Bring your attention to the top of your head
- Gently touch this point or hover your palm there.
- Breathe in deeply and recite the following mantras slowly:
“Om brahmane namah”. (I bow to the Infinite/ Universe.)
“Om brahman sthāpaya śirasi me pūrṇatā.” (Please place the Infinite in my crown as wholeness.)
“Om sahasrāra ātmane namah” (I bow to the Self dwelling in the thousand-petaled lotus.)
- Visualize a white lotus blooming at the crown. Feel yourself witnessing from that still inner space.
- Let the light radiate inward and outward, blessing your mind with insight.
Disclaimer: The mantras given here are modern Sanskrit constructions, intended as poetic, nyāsa-style invocations for meditation. These are not scripturally attested Vedic or Tantric mantras. These have been constructed to fit the spirit of nyāsa for an English-speaking audience who might not be versed in bīja or more cryptic Tantric syllables.
